A brilliant Academy session and just wish they would organise more. My daughter came away absolutely buzzing and asked to be booked onto the summer camp!

The most fantastic 121 session with Ben!
Both my children have just has a 121 with Ben. They are different in ages and have vastly different hockey backgrounds. Ben put my daughter at ease who was quite nervous and worked through some basics skills such as passing technique and shooting and then went on to teach her about beating a defender.
My son is a talent academy player and Ben went through his drag flick technique, recorded on video. In just an hour, he's added 10mph to his power and also taught him different tactics and techniques depending on the short corner defence. These are things I never knew about as a hockey parent and supporter!
I listened in on some of the conversations (I hope you don't mind!) and his calm manner and positive feedback was just perfect.

Simply the best hockey camps aorund.
Everything about the camp is 5 stars!! The communicaiton before and during the week is very helpful, the food is the best (who else can provide farm shop quality food?????), the coaching is top qulaity and you get a feeling as a parent that Ben and the team REALLY care about all the small details.
Dear Ben and all the coaches at Five Star Hockey.
I have loved every minute of Five Star Hockey.
I was on the Talent Camp. It has been an amazing week! We have done several types of activities such as mentoring classes, match play and lots of skill based exercises.
We have had amazing coaching from Team GB hockey players.
My personal favourite part of the camp was the last day in which we were split into 6 teams England, Holland, Belgium, India, New Zealand and Australia ( these represented the national teams.)
I was in team Belgium. In the morning we did relays and competitions with our sticks and balls. After that we played matches for the rest of the day. I am very proud to say that Belgium won!
Over all would definitely recommend Five Star Hockey

Five Star Hockey Camp
I really enjoyed the Hockey camp. The coaches were all really friendly and professional. By the end of the week, they knew what type of things you were suited to and how to push you. I liked how on each different day we focused on a new key area of hockey e.g.; Attacking, defending, goal scoring and special skills. This meant that we could all learn to improve at different areas of hockey.
I think for me the best part of the camp was probably meeting new people. I came with some friends I already knew but I got to know them a lot better. And we all made 3 new friends who we would never have even met if we hadn’t gone to the camp.
I would really recommend this to anyone who is interested in Hockey whether a beginner or pro.
Thank you to all the coaches and staff at the camp. 👍

I really enjoyed the hockey camp. I thought it was action packed, beneficial for my hockey, but also a lot of fun.
I especially enjoyed the 'measuring the speed of the ball' exercise and my strongest hit was recorded at 64mph. I also enjoyed the rotation exercises we did on Thursday morning as I felt I learnt several new skills. eg drag flicking and reverse stick hitting.
I found the strength exercises a challenge but I know they are beneficial to me. However, no-one can say the plank is fun!
The food was absolutely amazing, the coaches very knowledgeable and really helped me develop my hockey skills. If I had to identify one skill I think I improved upon most this week it would be my defending as I learnt a new body position and how to use my stance with regards to distance from an attacker.
I'm very much looking forward to the next camp and please can you say thank you to all the coaches

I really enjoyed the Five Star Hockey Camp as it was really cool and we always had games at the end of the day. Each day was centred around a specific thing in hockey and the coaches are really nice and know what they are doing. Being taught by them was an honour and I will definitely be doing it again if I get the chance!

The camp was well structured covering so much, fun and we had really amazing coaches!
I loved the Olympic game play at the end to finish off the camp. The masterclasses were really inspirational.

We had a brilliant week! The course was fun, educational and exhausting! We feel we have continued to develop our 3D skills and understanding of the technical element of the game and cannot wait for the new season to start!

How would I describe the camp? A fun, well planned hockey camp with kind and knowledgeable coaches.
Although I did not know anybody, I felt very welcome, and it would be great to join another Five Star Hockey Camp in the future!
What was the best part of the camp? Tournament day! We could apply all the skills we had learnt during the camp, we got to hang with our friends, we got to play games and have a BBQ!

I would describe the camp as sooo much fun, everyone was lovely and I learnt new skills such as drag flicks and practiced and improved my aerials, 3D skills and hitting accuracy.
The best part of the camp was the Olympic games where I got to put the new skills I had learnt into match play.
The other best part was when the coaches sat us in a circle and showed us different ways to tackle and then we got to go off in pairs and try it. No one has ever actually shown me that before in 7 years of learning to play hockey.

I loved the hockey camp at Stowe because we did lots of fun games and we played Olympics on the last day. My other favourite thing was the food! We got a hot cooked lunch which was delicious. It was so good!
The camp was fun and it was funny as well and we learnt lots of new things. The coaches had a plan for every day so it was so good and we all had a mentor so that we could sign in and sign out every day with that person. It was so good, thank you.
Thank you so much for the hockey camp I really enjoyed it and I do think that you should do it if you what to get better at hockey. Thank you.
